HELP US GROW

CHARITY PROJECTS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN VULNERABLE SITUATIONS

The Pere Tarrés Foundation’s solidarity projects are intended to ensure that thousands of children and young people from Catalonia and Majorca who live at risk of poverty have the chance to take part in leisure activities all year round through participation in socioeducational centres, school trips, summer camps and play schemes. The solidarity of companies and individuals helps us make this possible.

WE WORK SO ALL BOYS AND GIRLS CAN HAVE THE SAME OPPORTUNITIES

The aim of our projects is to help thousands of children from families with socioeconomic difficulties take part in educational leisure activities all year round, and, at the same time, improve their physical and emotional well-being.

WE SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE AT RISK OF EXCLUSION

WE SUPPORT FAMILIES IN VULNERABLE SITUATIONS

We help families in vulnerable situations with weak family networks or none at all so that they feel supported in the process of bringing up their children. The aim is to get them away from the anxiety of their everyday situations and destructured environments.

The Pere Tarrés Foundation, which has been in existence for 60 years and is based in Barcelona, is a non-profit educational and social action organisation founded to promote education through leisure for children and young people. The foundation is devoted to promoting education in free time, volunteering, improving social intervention and strengthening the framework of local associations, but in time its action has expanded to other areas of social action, such as training, research and management.

The Pere Tarrés Foundation currently has bases in Barcelona, Tarragona, Manresa, Majorca and Madrid. It also runs and organises activities and training at the Faculty of Social Education and Social Work at the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona; training through leisure; social action and management; family weekends away and holidays; school trips, summer camps, campuses and play schemes; holiday centres and hostels; consultancy and study projects; a network of socioeducational centres; services and activities for schools; a hostel in Barcelona; a student residence in Madrid; leisure insurance; and volunteering.
