ORAL AND DENTAL HEALTH CARE FOR CHILDREN IN VULNERABLE SITUATIONS
Since 2017, the Pere Tarrés Foundation has been caring for the oral and dental needs not covered by the public health system of children aged under 12 involved in the various socioeducational centres. It does this thanks to donations from individuals and organisations and the cooperation of various dental centres.
Diagnosing the state of oral and dental health of children involved in the 35 socioeducational centres affiliated to the Pere Tarrés Foundation.
Dealing with the oral and dental health problems of children, mainly those aged under 12 (milk teeth).
Carrying out oral and dental health preventive action for the children and their families.
Pressurising the authorities to achieve greater commitment to children’s oral and dental health.
Campaign aimed at individuals and businesses to raise awareness and funds to bring in donations to cover the cost of treatment.
CHECK-UPS AND TREATMENT
To look after the children from the 31 socioeducational centres in different towns and cities, we need the cooperation and support of dental centres or dentists who can give the children check-ups free of charge and offer any treatment required at affordable prices.
