Recognition and awards

The trajectory and social impact of the Pere Tarrés Foundation as well as the development of its activities have received different recognitions and awards from a diversity of organizations that have wanted to value our educational and social project.

2023

• The Pere Tarrés Youth Hostel and the rest of the colony houses and hostels in the province of Barcelona, receive the Biosphere certification stamp, one of the main accreditations of Tourism Sustainability, for their management and environmental commitment and social.

• The Pere Tarrés Foundation has been awarded the Làbora Seal in recognition of its work as a Responsible Company for promoting the employment of people in vulnerable situations with special difficulty in accessing the labor market. This distinction is awarded by the Social Rights, Global Justice, Feminisms and LGTBI department of Barcelona City Council and its main objective is to improve the occupation of people in situations of vulnerability or risk of social exclusion.
