Equality Policies
The Pere Tarrés Foundation has an Equality and Work-Life Balance Plan that seeks to reconcile work and family life, prevent any form of sexist attitudes, promote the gender perspective, reduce absenteeism, normalize the use of non-sexist language, and foster diversity. All of this is to achieve a coherent professional project that respects the rights of workers.
Furthermore, it aims to promote a way of working that allows for strategies to increase the active participation of women and other groups, such as people with disabilities or at risk of social exclusion, in all areas of the Foundation.
It has also established various protocols and measures to prevent and detect harassment based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, as well as to guarantee the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex people, and to eradicate homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia.
Additionally, from various areas of the Foundation, educational and training programs and activities are carried out, primarily for adolescents and young people, to promote equality and prevent discriminatory or violent attitudes toward difference.
