Educational Volunteering

One or two afternoons a week, you can participate in the educational support we provide to children and young people.

Poble Sec Social and Educational Center

Monday to Friday: 

  • From 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday: academic support and educational leisure for elementary school children
  • From 5:00 PM to 7:15 PM: 
    • Monday and Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, educational recreation with children in Kindergarten
    • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 7:15 PM, educational recreation with children in P4 and P5
  • From 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM: Monday to Friday, academic support for teens (High School)

Poblenou Social and Educational Center

Monday to Thursday: 

  • From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM: homework help for children ages 6 to 12 and ages 12 to 16.

Raval Social and Educational Center

Monday to Thursday: 

  • Younger (3-5 years) and middle (6-7 years): volunteer on Tuesdays or Thursdays to do yoga, meditation for children, art therapy, relaxation and self-control techniques.
  • Pre-teens (13 - 14 years old): specific volunteering to lead a one-time or monthly workshop, such as body combat, self-defense, a coached sport, etc.
  • Youth (15+): volunteer for bi-weekly self-defense, boxing, or kickboxing classes.

Sant Adrià Social and Educational Center

On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays: 

  • From 4:45 PM to 7:15 PM: support during educational reinforcement sessions with children ages 6 to 12
  • From 4:45 PM to 7:15 PM: supervised study hall, exam preparation, improving academic engagement for high school students
