Our Students…

Franziska Schultis, Katolische Hochschule Freiburg (Alemanya). Erasmus student at our Faculty in the Spring semester 2012-2013.

After several months preparing my Erasmus exchange, I was finally in Barcelona! I didn’t understand Spanish, Catalan, nor the culture... I wondered if I could live here for six months. I started my placement and the academic supervision at the Faculty. We are five exchange students and we make a very intercultural group: we are called “the Erasmus”. I am learning a lot about the Social Work in Catalonia: the language, the culture and the capacities for life in an intercultural world. Day by day, I feel better at my agency, I go there daily, and to supervision at the Faculty once a month. My colleagues at “work” and at Faculty help me lot and they have become an essential part of my life in Barcelona. When I think I’ll be done with my placement in July, I feel sad...

I feel very happy to have had the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus at Pere Tarrés Faculty. This exchange has become one of the most important moments of my Social Work studies. I want to thank my mates at the agency, Aldees Infantils SOS, the Pere Tarrés Faculty and, specially, the International Relations team for this great opportunity to learn and live a great experience”
