The Pere Tarrés Faculty of Social Education and Social Work-URL is situated in Carrer Santaló 37, in the Sarrià-Saint Gervasi district of Barcelona, a lively business and shopping district. It is relatively far from the other Faculties or Schools of the Universitat Ramón Lull.

There are many accommodation facilities in Barcelona. Be aware that Barcelona is a busy city, so we advise you to book your accommodation as soon as possible and to make the reservations directly at the hotel.

  • Zenit Hotel ****: It is located on the same street as our Faculty, 2 minutes walking from the Faculty. We have an agreement with them for special prices.

  • Residència d’Investigadors: The Residence is situated in the heart of the city. You can reach the Faculty in about 30 minutes with public transportation.
  • Youth Hostel Pere Tarrés: Close to the train station Barcelona Sants, it is well communicated with public transportation (about 15min from the Faculty)

Flat or room rental

Catalan, along with Spanish, are the official languages of Catalonia. The Pere Tarrés Faculty of Social Education and Social Work-URL uses primarily the Catalan language but does not rule out the use of Spanish. In Catalonia, all members of the academic community are entitled to use the language with which they feel more comfortable.
