The Pau i Treva Conflict Solving Research
and Intervention University Centre
Pau i Treva was founded in September 1998 by the Pere Tarrés
Postgraduate Centre and the Pere Tarrés Social Education
University School of Ramon Llull University.
Pau i Treva’s goal is to help replace violent
forms of relationships with intelligent systems of pacific conflict
solving.
Thus, it endeavours to foster the development of
realities founded on values such as social justice, freedom, cooperation
and respect for diversity.
Pau i Treva is dedicated to pacification and conflict
solving in all possible fields of application, from personal conflicts
to violent and armed conflicts, and pays special attention to the
conflict solving processes in families and interpersonal relationships,
in the workplace and at school, in the community and in the social,
institutional and even international field.
Pau i Treva develops its programmes and activities
in the following areas from a multi-disciplinary, open and integrative
perspective: teaching, research, interventions, publications and
the Friends of the Pau i Treva Association.
