The Pau i Treva Conflict Solving Research and Intervention University Centre
Pau i Treva was founded in September 1998 by the Pere Tarrés Postgraduate Centre and the Pere Tarrés Social Education University School of Ramon Llull University.

Pau i Treva’s goal is to help replace violent forms of relationships with intelligent systems of pacific conflict solving.

Thus, it endeavours to foster the development of realities founded on values such as social justice, freedom, cooperation and respect for diversity.

Pau i Treva is dedicated to pacification and conflict solving in all possible fields of application, from personal conflicts to violent and armed conflicts, and pays special attention to the conflict solving processes in families and interpersonal relationships, in the workplace and at school, in the community and in the social, institutional and even international field.

Pau i Treva develops its programmes and activities in the following areas from a multi-disciplinary, open and integrative perspective: teaching, research, interventions, publications and the Friends of the Pau i Treva Association.
