The Training Institute offers a variety of ways
for companies, especially those in the social sector, to partially
or fully finance courses.
The main possibilities for financing are through the Tripartite
Foundation (Forcem) and vocational training for the unemployed and
for recycling the active population.
FORCEM
What is the Tripartite Foundation for Vocational Training and how
does it work?
The Tripartite Foundation for Vocational Training is a foundation
created to support ongoing professional training across all socio-economic
sectors, on the basis of an agreement between labour unions, employer
organisations and the public administration, with the support of
the European Social Fund.
All self-employed professionals and private entities with contracted
staff are the targets of our ongoing training plans. The list includes
courses to meet all needs, and should it be suitable, we can design
training actions adapted to special situations.
The training permitted by the Tripartite Foundation takes place
at no direct cost to employees or businesses in all cases. Groups
must be made up of 15 to 25 persons and tailored to organisations
which provide groups, as far as possible. Training is adapted to
organisations that have groups of 15 or more employees interested
in a specific topic and takes place on-site, should that be desired.
What experience does the Pere Tarrés
Foundation have?
We have managed group training plans since 1995:
8,000 professionals trained
600 organisations from a variety of sectors
700 training actions conducted
What makes our training different?
 |
We opt for a training model open to society
as a whole and adapted to each organisation. |
 |
Innovation, flexibility and the integration
of the social changes and new profiles required in professional
practice. |
 |
Quality training adapted to the needs of different
groups, taught by capable professionals in the sector with the
experience garnered from multiple Foundation programmes. |
 |
The use of methodologies suited to training
adults, founded on the experience and knowledge of each individual,
which makes learning active and participative. |
 |
Our training is enriched by the different scientific
investigations the Institute promotes (especially the Pere Tarrés
Social Education and Social Work University Schools). |
 |

University) and other institutions of higher education in Catalonia,
Spain and Europe. |

has been specially created for entities that wish to offer ongoing
training through our counselling on different organisational
or intervention aspects. |
