Accessibility

 

Most of the Web of the Pere Tarrés Foundation has been designed to be accessible for everybody, irrespective of the type of browser used. The web uses the standards established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The parts which are still not adapted to these standards are currently being updated.

The page is optimally viewed using, at the very least, the following browsers and their corresponding versions:

• Internet Explorer 6.0
• Mozilla Firefox 1.0.6
• Opera 8.5

 

Text size

All of the different text sizes are defined in relative terms, allowing them to be reduced or increased depending on the needs of the user. This may be done in two ways:

• Using the "a A" found in the upper main menu
• With the options of the different browsers:
  • Internet Explorer i Mozila Firefox: See/ Text size
  • Mozilla: See / Scale

 

Colour contrast

The colours used in this web have been designed for optimal viewing in all situations.

 

Hot keys

The user can surf the web using the keypad or the hot keys.

According to operating system:

• Windows: ALT + Key + INTRO
• Mac: CTRL + Key

The hot keys defined for this web are found in the first levels of all the left-hand menus

 

Standards

Part of the web of the Pere Tarrés Foundation meets the following standards:

It declares that HTML version 4.01 has been correctly used in most of the web of the Pere Tarrés Fundation and that the syntax is limited to the grammar of this language.

It declares that the syntax of the style sheets used in the Web of the Fundación Pere Tarrés is correct.

 

It declares that most of the web of the Pere Tarrés Foundation meets the standards for accessibility to web page contents, version 1.0 with a minimum of level A.
